In 1987, Volvo introduced the second and also the final upgrade of the successful F-series. Although the second generation performed well on the European truck market, an update of the exterior of the cabin was necessary. The new lines at the front indeed brought a much more modern appearance to the cabin. In addition to the exterior, the interior of the cabin was also renewed with a fresh, modern color scheme. Apart from the cosmetic adjustments, the drivetrain was also addressed with new variants of the existing engine families and the introduction of an ultra-modern 16-liter six-cylinder engine. The newcomer naturally received the designation F16, in line with the other models. In the book "Volvo F-series third gen," there is ample focus on the F16 without neglecting the F10 and F12. This third part should not be missing from your bookshelf, especially when combined with the other two parts of this series!

The Volvo F10 and F12 were an immediate resounding success for the Swedish manufacturer. Both variants with the standard cab and the Globetrotter with its raised roof were embraced by the market, not least by the drivers. Naturally, the newly developed models were closely followed by Volvo. The result was a major update that saw the light of day in 1993. Once again, the driver was the big winner. While the first generation still had a flat roof, Volvo created a completely new arched roof that clearly provided more headroom and therefore more comfort. In addition to this major adaptation, numerous new developments were naturally implemented at the detail level in the models. The book "Volvo F-series second gen" once again provides a good overview of the variants and applications in the European truck market. The book is made for the true enthusiast of truck and transport books with an eye for exclusivity and, above all, high quality, in short, a must-have!

In the seventies, the end of the Volvo F88 and F89 models was approaching. Both trucks used a tilting cab developed in the sixties, with which Volvo played a pioneering role. Naturally, Volvo kept the trucks technically up to date, but especially the cabin showed signs of aging. Volvo swed, as with its predecessors, a lot of courage with the introduction of the new F-series trucks. The driver clearly played a central role in the development. In addition to plenty of space in the cabin, a lot of attention was paid to ergonomics and safety. Volvo made great strides in both comfort and performance. The book "Volvo F-series first gen" provides a colorful picture of domestic and foreign trucks. The depicted photos all date from the late seventies to the late eighties. Naturally, these books are also compiled according to the successful mbmcargotech concept with large, exclusive, and high-quality photos. In short, once again a must-have for enthusiasts.

Despite its enormous sales success, Scania did not produce the GPRT series for a particularly long time. Developments in the market followed one another quickly. Maintaining an existing design at the level of often new developments by competitors is particularly difficult. Scania, however, excelled in this aspect. The R112 could compete without problems until the end of production. The introduction of the intercooler significantly boosted R112's sales figures. The cab was adjusted in details and received a different color scheme, and the whole was marketed as the "Blue Cab." The six-cylinder Scania was especially successful in countries with flat landscapes. In the Netherlands, the R112 was effortlessly used as a 50-ton combination, while in mountainous areas, the V8 was the preferred choice. The Scania R112 was so popular that putting together a second part about this sturdy Swede was no problem. This book, too, deserves a place in your book collection!

Scania had to set the bar high in developing the new GPRT series. The "old" LB series trucks had proven themselves as highly capable, reliable, and comfortable. Both transport companies and drivers had high expectations. Scania didn't disappoint and introduced a completely newly developed truck to the market. The Scania R142 was naturally the standout in the GPRT line-up, but the R112 was the truck that had to deliver in terms of sales for Scania. The six-cylinder proved to be a success again, especially when Scania, as one of the last manufacturers in Europe, introduced the intercooler on the R112. The 333 horsepower strong R112 was a true all-rounder suitable for heavy-duty work both domestically and internationally. This book offers a good insight into the applications for which the R112 was used. Alongside many photos of Dutch R112s, there is also ample focus on the R112 across the rest of Europe. Once again, a book about a remarkable model in Scania's history that shouldn't be missing from your collection!

The Scania LB76 was introduced in 1964 by the Swedish manufacturer. The model was produced for only a short period and had some limitations, such as cooling problems that needed to be solved. Additionally, the cabin space was limited, especially when driven with a double crew. In 1968, the new LB series was introduced, featuring a spacious and modern cabin that was clearly designed with the driver as the focal point. The LB110 and the also new LB140 with a powerful V8 engine were an instant success. The LB140, with its 350 hp, was the most powerful truck on the market. However, Scania recognized the need for an early update, resulting in the LB111 and LB141. These trucks immediately captivated both transporters and drivers. Especially the LB141 gained an almost mythical reputation as the "King of the Road". It is therefore not surprising that mbmcargotech has dedicated a book to these extremely successful Scania models. Once again, it features beautiful, exclusive, and large-format photographs of the renowned mbmcargotech quality. A must-have for enthusiasts!

Cranes, especially mobile cranes, have undergone a rapid development in the past decades. Both the lifting capacity, lifting height, and reach of mobile cranes have increased dramatically. The DAF 2800 and its subsequent models were actually in production for a little over 15 years. Yet, the model holds an iconic status among drivers. With the 2800, DAF managed to definitively establish its position in the heavy and often international transport. Originally, DAF was one of the smallest manufacturers in Europe. The company's limited resources made growth in a fiercely competitive market a challenging task. The acquisition by the American company Paccar, while maintaining its independence, proved to be a tremendous boost. The result is that the Dutch brand DAF now belongs to the top in Europe. Without the 2800, this growth would not have been possible. Sufficient reason to once again fill this second part of the book series with stunning, large-format photos of these DAF series. This book should also not be missing from your collection of truck and transport books.

The DAF 2800 was introduced in 1974 as the successor to the legendary DAF 2600. Although the F241 cab was based on the tilt cab concept already introduced in 1968, the introduction of the DAF 2800 was a long time coming. However, the six years between the release of the mid-range series and the introduction of the 2800 for heavy, often international transport, were put to good use by DAF. The Eindhoven-based producer was the first manufacturer to introduce the intercooler on its engines, and the 2800 cab was spacious and comfortable. However, the demand for higher engine power persisted and led to the introduction of the 3300, which had a 330 hp engine. But demand persisted and DAF also had to keep up. The 3600, with a 360 hp engine, was DAF's answer. DAF was a master at upgrading existing concepts, and the introduction of the Space Cab on the big DAF proved to be another resounding success This book takes you on a time travel to a very successful DAF of the past. It should therefore absolutely not be missing from your bookshelf.

The popularity of heavy & special transport and the large amount of available photographs did not make the choice to simultaneously compile two volumes of the new CONVOI EXCEPTIONNEL series very difficult. Where part one covers the eighties and early nineties, part two clearly pays more attention to the nineties. The photos show the development that the commercial vehicle market, also in this segment, went through in the 1990s with a large number of new models from almost all brands. Volume Two again offers exclusive large-format photos in the familiar mbmcargotech quality.
