Mammoet one of worlds biggest heavy haulage and crane hire companies is using a lot of Mercedes trucks and tractors. After a long period of buying Actros trucks its currently buying the Arocs for its heavy haulage work. This Dutch Arocs is hooked to a five axled Nooteboom PX semi trailer.
The all new junction in the A6 and A7 near Joure is almost ready. This shot shows Van der Meijden delivering one of the heavy prefabricated concrete elements for one of the fly overs. The 750 HP strong Volvo FH16 is hooked to 2 modular Faymonville platform trailers.
Dutch operator Boer running a Volvo- Nooteboom heavy haulage combo. The Volvo FM is a converted 5 axled tractor chassis, the Nooteboom a five axled PX low loader. The rig is loaded with a pile driver. The gross weight of the combo can easily go well over 100 ton.
Lubbers Schoonebeek took over the heavy haulage activities up to 100 ton gross weight of Wagenborg Nedlift. The involved trucks are still running in the recognizable Wagenborg livery, only the name was replaced. New trucks will, of course, have the original red white Lubbers livery.
Belgian heavy haulage operator P. Van Egdom is running a large fleet of DAF trucks. The company uses the Dutch trucks for decades. Only for the extreme heavy loads its using other brands as well. DAF heaviest engine is a 13 liter 530 hp 6-inline, it says this is enough for 99% of all transport tasks.
A Mercedes Actros Mp3 6 x 4 hooked to a five axled Broshuis SL semi low loader. The semi is loaded with a crated heavy load. The Mercedes Actros is powered by the well known V8 rated at 510 hp. It will not have much problems with the gross weight of 80 ton.
